Consistent branding is SO important for your blog and business, but there are many missed opportunities. One of those is the images that show up next to tabs on your Facebook page.
I’ll admit they are not as prominent with the new Facebook page design, but they are still important to creating a cohesive Facebook page for your business.
Wondering what a tab is? Well, sometimes they are referred to as Apps. Basically they mean the same thing and are interchangeable.
Now this is probably obvious, but before you can customize tab images, you must first have a tab or app to customize!
There are some tabs that do not have images and come with all Facebook pages. The ones that are always visible include About, Photos, Likes and Videos. There are others like Events, Notes, Shop, and Services that typically come with all Facebook pages (depending on the page type) that are visible by default but can be turned off.
So, Where Are the Tabs in the New Facebook Page Design?
Not too long ago, Facebook tabs were shown on the left-hand side. You probably remember seeing them pretty prominently and pretty high up (not as buried as they are now).
